Welcome to Ambition Roast (“the Service”), a coffee roasting log application available at ambitionroast.co and as a progressive web app. The Service is operated by Aziz Kara (“we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Ambition Roast is a tool for tracking and logging coffee roasts. The Service allows you to record roast parameters such as timing, temperatures, weights, and recipes, and to view your roast history.
To use the Service, you must sign in using a supported authentication provider (currently Google). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
The Service is currently offered free of charge with a limit of 10 saved roasts per account. We reserve the right to modify these limits, introduce paid plans, or change pricing at any time with reasonable notice.

You retain ownership of the roast data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
You may export your data at any time using the Export CSV feature in Settings.
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
